BARONY COURSE - PORT ROYAL PLANTATION
Designed by George W. Cobb, the Barony Course at Port Royal Golf Club was one of the first courses on Hilton Head Island. Standing at over 40 years of age, the Barony Course also proves that age is just a number as it continues to receive praise from top golf publications.
Fans of target golf will appreciate everything Barony has to give. The risk-reward approaches to the greens bring some challenges and the small greens that are protected by thick rough and unforgiving bunkers calls for a skillful touch with the mid and short irons. Golfers will quickly realize that the key to this course is accuracy and not length.
