Day 2

Atlantic Dunes by Davis Love III

Start with the most accessible Sea Pines layout. Get your bearings on the island and save your legs for the rounds ahead.

Day 3

Heron Point by Pete Dye

A step up in difficulty. Dye's angular design rewards the course management you developed on Day 2.

Day 4

Harbour Town Golf Links

Save the best for last. The lighthouse finish on Calibogue Sound is the defining Hilton Head golf experience.

Off-course

Sea Pines Harbour Town marina, Coligny Beach, South Beach Marina Village, and the Sea Pines Forest Preserve are all within the community.

Round-by-round plan

1

Day 2

Robert Trent Jones Oceanfront Course

The most accessible of the three. Wide fairways and the oceanfront 18th make this the ideal opening round.

2

Day 3

George Fazio Course

The par-70 format creates a different strategic challenge. Often the best value of the three.

3

Day 4

Arthur Hills Course

The most demanding of the three. Lagoons and rolling terrain reward the course management built over the first two rounds.

Off-course

Palmetto Dunes has direct beach access, the Shelter Cove marina, and easy access to Coligny Beach and the island's main dining corridor.

Tip: The RTJ Oceanfront course is the most popular and books fastest. Secure it first when planning your itinerary.
